Love, can make you feel on top of the world,
It makes you feel more than alive.
Can but blossom inside, like a red rose uncurled,
Headfirst into the void of life you dive.

They say absence makes the heart grow fonder,
Upon this phrase, for hours I sit and ponder.
Try in everyway I can, to make you see,
With every feeling, thought and breath I scream I LOVE THEE!

Love, can kill you from the inside,
A masked murderer is he running free.
No one can realise until you have died,
Cutting out the insides, torturing me.

Listening to her in my arms, like a kitten hear her purr,
Within the psychological prison I hide.
Never once could I bear myself to lie to her,
For her, each and every night I have cried.

Whether it be physical or mental, the tears flow,
The distance amplified by love creates the pain.
Like a river, it all begins to show,
From this, the masked murderer that is love, the only to gain
